Description

Founded during the Enlightenment in 1755, Vacheron Constantin is the oldest watchmaker in Switzerland, a country renowned for watchmaking.  Due to its success, the watchmaker took on a partner in 1819, before many other companies were even formed.  Their new motto was “Do better if possible and that is always possible” (translation).  Vacheron Constantin has been doing it better and improving watches since 1819.  For their 260th anniversary, they created the world’s most complicated watch, a pocket watch that took three watchmakers eight years to build.  Vacheron Constantin embeds into all their watches that exceptional watchmaking skill that they gained from being one of the world’s oldest watchmakers.
