Pre-Owned 42mm Tudor Fastrider Black Shield (42000CN)
The Tudor Fastrider Black Shield was introduced in 2013 as the high-performance evolution of Tudor’s Fastrider collection, which had debuted in 2011 as part of the brand’s partnership with Ducati. Designed around the world of performance motorcycles, the Black Shield represented a significant technical departure for Tudor, featuring the brand’s first monobloc case made from high-tech matte black ceramic. Its angular 42mm case and tachymeter bezel complemented its sporty character, while the self-winding Valjoux-based Caliber 7753 provided chronograph and date functions with approximately 46 hours of power reserve. Initially offered with red or bronze accents, the collection later expanded to include additional versions, including the striking black-and-white 42000CN inspired by Ducati’s XDiavel. The Fastrider Black Shield remained in production through the late 2010s and stands out as one of Tudor’s more unconventional modern chronographs, combining Swiss mechanical watchmaking with the aggressive aesthetic and technical spirit of Ducati motorcycles. This watch comes complete with box and papers.
