Pre-owned Tissot 40mm Valjoux Navigator Crème Dial Leather Strap, Ref 40522
A fun and bold chronograph from the the 1970s, this Tissot chronograph has a great looking cream colored dial and sub-dials. The case is large for a vintage wristwatch with a width of 40mm and there is a substantial screw-down case back. The large tonneau steel case makes a presence on the wrist. This has just enough accent of red hands and blue in the sub-dial to bring it to life. The fully lumed, thick indexes give it the legibility of a traditional tool watch. Fitted with a Valjoux caliber 7734, it has a highly respected caliber of many chronographs from that period. The watch shares some similar design elements with the good-looking Heuer Viceroy model at a fraction of the cost.
