New Frederique Constant FC-200MPW2V5B Classics Art Deco Gold-plated Stainless Steel bracelet, White Mother-of-Pearl dial
Resolutely modern, the new round Art Deco model is designed with the casing slightly curved to perfectly fit the contour and proportions of the wrist.  Minute attention to details are evidenced on the guilloche mother-of-pearl dial with the hours and minutes shown by needles, hand refined and polished in the so- called “cored apple” style imposed by Breguet over 200 years ago. Designed for the everyday dress of modern, distinguished women, the watch is powered by a Frederique Constant quartz movement.

Description

Frederique Constant values classical and traditional design that doesn’t reflect a specific era but is intended to appeal across generations to come.  Because they design and manufacture all of their watches, there is a coherence to the Frederique Constant collections that makes their watches recognizable.  New watch models begin in their workshop as a collaborative discussion about the design, which develops into a prototype that leads ultimately to the manufacture.  While the company prides itself on offering fine crafted watches that are affordable, they still decorate the visible components using age-old techniques developed by the luxury watchmaking industry.  Frederique Constant collections are varied but all maintain their classical, clean design, so much so that it is often surprising to learn that this Swiss watchmaker was formed in 1988, named after the founder’s great-grandparents.
