Pre-Owned Solid 14 karat rose gold Elgin Pocket watch made by the Elgin National Watch Co. of Elgin, Illinois. This watch has a gilded, mechanical, manually wound, lever set, 11 jewel movement that is marked for the jeweler who retailed it, “G.W. Brumm, Boise City, Idaho”. The exterior case front is personalized, “R.L. Wilkins”. The single sunk porcelain dial has fine Roman numerals and nicely matched blued, spade steel hands. Overall weight 66 grams – Overall diameter 42mm- Circa 1881.

Pre-Owned 16 size yellow gold filled Hamilton Railroad approved pocket watch model 992-E in model 10 concentric circle motif case. Case in excellent condition with no apparent brassing and no personalization. High grade nickel finished 3/4 plate 21 jewel manual wind mechanical movement marked Elinvar under the balance wheel to designate the use of a new alloy spring more resistant to magnetism. Gold jewel settings and center wheel. Extra bold numerals on a double sunk porcelain dial and blued spade steel hands. Overall weight 98 grams 51mm – overall diameter – circa 1936

Pre-Owned Elgin National Watch Company of Elgin Illinois 0 size solid 14k yellow gold hunter case pendant watch. Monogramed on front lid and early cut diamond mounted on rear lid. Inner case cover engraved December 25, 1908. Beautifully finished 17 jewel movement with gold jewel settings. 40 grams overall weight – 35 mm overall diameter.

Pre-Owned Solid 14 karat gold open face pocket watch by IWC (International Watch Company) of Schaffhausen. Polished rear case lid engraved with the initials, “GE” and inner lid engraved, “To G E from his Mother on His 20th Birthday – August 21, 1919” as well as “International Watch Co”.. Gilded 3/4 plate 16 jewel manual wind mechanical pin set movement signed IWC. Porcelain single sunk dial with blued spade hands. Note: Though the personalization makes it seem this watch might have been new in 1919 the serial number and design suggest is was made in 1888. We presume it was passed down to GE on his birthday having been owned by a family member. Overall weight 81g – overall diameter 44mm – circa 1919

Pre-Owned Elgin National Watch Company 10 Size solid 14 karat yellow gold hunters cased pocket watch circa 1872.. A lovely finely engraved and enameled example of early American watchmaking at it’s finest. Both the front and rear covers have a complex floral design centering a compote full of fruit. Free of monogram or personalization this watch was obviously cherished and used little. The seven jewel Dexter Street movement within is key wound and key set from the rear with holes machined in the inner cover or couvette to allow winding and setting through the cover. Porcelain dial and matched blued hands are is marvelous condition. 73 grams overall weight .. 44 mm overall width.
